Rebecca's Oatmeal Honey Wheat Bread

1 2 pound loaf
ingredients
- 1 2⁄3 cups water
- 1 cup rolled oats (not quick)
- 2 cups white whole wheat flour (King Arthur brand)
- 1 3⁄4 cups white bread flour (King Arthur brand)
- 1⁄4 cup wheat germ
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 4 teaspoons gluten
- 2 1⁄4 teaspoons bread machine yeast
directions
- Place ingredients in the above order (or in the the order your bread machine manufacturer recommends).
- I run my machine on "Basic", "Light Crust".

This was really good and it made a HUGE loaf (I was watching it rise and was afraid it was going to open the lid of my breadmaker but it stopped just short of that). The only change I made was to use 2 cups of both kind of flour because I realized too late that I didn't have any wheat germ. Thanks for a great recipe!
