- 1 cup uncooked wild rice
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 chicken bouillon cubes or 1 beef bouillon cube
directions
- Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
- In a glass baking dish, mix rice, water and bouillon cube.
- Cover.
- Put dish in oven and immediately turn off the oven.
- "In the morning, you will wake to perfect wild rice, every time. Not really sure how much it makes.

Thank you for sharing this! I was having a dinner party with my neighbors recently and I was going to make a wild rice dish instead of a potato side dish. I saw this easy way to prepare wild rice and I thought I'd try it. It turned out to be incredible! I don't like the smell of wild rice cooking. This was fantastic rice, minus the smell. All I did was sauté some mushrooms and onions, shredded a little carrot, added broth and baked for 30 minutes and I had a dish that everyone love.
