ingredients
- 36 ounces pork and beans
- 1⁄2 onion, diced
- 2⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 4 slices cooked bacon
directions
- Mix all together.
- Pour into 8x8 oven safe dish.
- Lay bacon across the top of beans.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

I did follow the ingredients on down, but changed things a little! I used dark brown sugar because we like the added molasses, & also added 2 tablespoons of molasses, too! Used Dijon honey mustard, & then crumbled the bacon before sprinkling it over the top of the beans! The beans are great, & we were absolutely satisfied with 'em! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
