Miracle Whip Chocolate Cake
"This is a very easy yet absolutely scrumptious and moist chocolate cake. The recipe was lost when my Mom died but was found years later in a church cookbook where she had put it. This will become your secret recipe for chocolate cake!"

ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1⁄2 cups Miracle Whip
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
directions
- Place all ingredients in bowl and beat well with electric mixer.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
- Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

3/09 My ex step Grandmother gave me this recipe about 30 yrs ago. It's moist, chocolatey and mmmmmm GOOD!! 7/09 I made THIS EXACT Recipe and the cake came out dry and overdone. Went back to my ex step Grandma's recipe to see it IS different: less flour and 1 C boiling water and not baking soda, baking powder.. hers came out killer: moist rich and perfect.. sorry. -
