ingredients
- 2 cups mangoes, diced
- 6 large strawberries, frozen
- 1 cup passion fruit juice
- 1⁄2 cup ice, crushed (optional)
directions
- If dicing a fresh, ripe mango, be sure to freeze it before using.
- Put all ingredients in blender & process until smooth & creamy.

What a great smoothie Syd. It is very tart and refreshing. A great wake me up. I used frozen wild strawberries and frozen diced mangos, followed the recipe exactly. I also added 1/2 cup more of the passion fruit juice to help grind the fruit and didn't need the ice. Truly a wonderful taste treat that reminds me of tropical dishes. Thank you so much for sharing.

Wonderful blend of flavours! I made this with canned mangoes - they're not currently in season here - and omitted the optional ice. I've made this for tomorrow's eat-in-the car breakfast which I'll be drinking from a Tupperware commuter mug, so the smoothie doesn't look as elegant as in the photographs. But it's undoubtedly just as tasty. The only change I made was to add about a cup of sunflower seeds - a favourite ingredient of mine in smoothies. I like that slight crunch. Thanks for sharing this recipe! Made for 1-2-3 Wonders!
