Hot Sausage Soup (Aka Cindy"s Soup)

"When I tell people about this soup they say, I don't know, it doesn't sound very good. But when they taste it they rave about it.. My husband would eat this all the time. Whenever he smells soup cooking he asks is that Cindy's soup. This soup came from a friend;s wife.. Not sure what magazine that this originally came from. This is comfort food at its best."

  1. I made this soup on a cold winter night. I thought it was very tasteful. My family gobbled it up. Went fantastic with some crusty bread. My new go to soup recipe to warm the soul. Wouldn't change a thing.

  2. Hi, I think this is a version of one found in a back issue of Taste of Home, 16-17 years ago. Theirs used plain tomatoes and there is no extra spices like the oregano added, the seasoning in the hot sausage is enough to carry the flavor. Try adding cooked, cheese stuffed tortolini before serving. Joyce
