- 3 teaspoons caster sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon peanut oil or 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon peanuts, finely chopped
directions
- Combine the caster sugar, rice vinegar and water in a small saucepan.
- Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the hoisin sauce, peanut oil or vegetable oil, and chopped peanuts.
- Stir thoroughly.
