- Preheat oven to 400°F Put 10" x 14" pan (with lip) in oven.
- Beat eggs, flour, milk, and salt.
- Remove pan from oven, put butter in pan and tilt to coat bottom and sides of pan with butter.
- Put sliced apples in pan and spread out to cover pan bottom.
- Pour batter over apples very slowly and evenly, trying to cover all of the apples with some batter.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake 20-25 min at 400°F.
- Remove from oven, cut into 8 or 10 slices, and transfer to plates with broad spatula.
- My grandmother likes hers sprinkled with lemon juice and dusted with powdered sugar. I think it's good both ways. It's also good cold.
