This is my favorite version of taco dip although I modified this recipe a little. I add just 8 ounces of sour cream to the 8 ounces of cream cheese because I like the dip to be a little more firm. Otherwise, the recipe is great!

Made this last week for some friends and it was a hit. They took home the leftovers and finished them before bedtime - good recommendation. Thanks for submitting.

very much like a seven layer dip. softened to me means that i can nuke it for 15 sec and be good but this dip needed the cream cheese to be really soft to mix well. i dont like the tomatoes to be chilled as they hurt my teeth so the leftovers were a little tricky. but the flavor was good and went together with out to much trouble. thanks for a quick good dip for parties
