ingredients

• 2 cups lemon lime margarita mix
• 1 1⁄2 cups ginger ale
• 3⁄4 cup tequila
• 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
• crushed ice, as needed
• sugar, for rimming glasses (optional)

directions

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the margarita mix, ginger ale, tequila, ginger and ice and stir well.
2. Pour into margarita glasses rimmed with sugar.
