Frozen Strawberry Drink Mix

"Keep in the freezer for quick drinks all summer. So versatile and can be used for adult (daiquiri & margarita) and kids (slurpy) drinks. Posted so I NEVER lose it !"

• Ingredients: 4
• Yields: 4 cups
• Serves: 14-18

ingredients

• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1⁄3 cup fresh lime juice
• 1⁄4 cup water
• 1 quart fresh strawberries, washed & hulled

directions

1. Combine sugar, lime juice and water. Stir to mix, then let set until sugar is almost completely dissolved, about 15 minutes (mixture will be thick). In blender, combine sugar mix with strawberries and blend til smooth. Freeze in containers.
2. MERRY BERRY: In blender, combine one scoop of frozen strawberry mix (about 1/4 cup), 7-8 ice cubes and Rum or Tequila to desired strength.
3. VIRGIN BERRY: In blender, combine one scoop frozen mix with 7-8 ice cubes, 1/2 pkg vanilla Instant Breakfast, and Ginger Ale to desired thickness.
