Dry Potato and Cauliflower

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kalonji
- 6 fresh green chilies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 350 g cauliflower, cut into 20mm pieces
- 300 g potatoes, diced 20mm
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt (to taste)
directions
- Soak the cauliflower in cold water for 30 minutes. Parboil the potatoes for 5 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a wok and briefly fry the kalonji and the chilies. Sprinkle over the turmeric. Add the cauliflower and potatoes, mix well and stir fry for 3 minutes.
- Turn the heat down, cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the salt, turn up the heat and stir fry until the potatoes are tender.
