- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nut kreations dark chocolate cashews
directions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease an 8-inch square baking pan (butter or cooking spray both work).
- In one bowl, mix together the first three dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt) and set aside.
- In a second bowl, combine the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until combined after each one.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Slowly pour the dry mixture into the wet mixture while whisking until combined.
- Add and integrate into the chopped Dark Chocolate Cashews.
- Put the finished batter in the prepared pan and bake 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
