  1. I needed a quick throw together in crockpot recipe....defrosted chicken breasts (2 large ones) and needed a no fuss in the morning and needed dinner to be pretty much ready for me after work, before sports. I think it turned out very well. I did use 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup instead and I can of Green Giant Kitchen sliced green beans (our favorite) including juices. I agree, there was a lot of broth but it was flavorful; not thick. I did sprinkle each chicken breast with sea salt and pepper. I cut up/shredded the chicken into bite sized servings and served this in a shallow soup dish with some cooked, wide egg noodles....very similar to a chicken noodle soup. Next time, I may throw in a small amount of chopped carrots and celery. It was well received and even the leftovers were eaten. I would make this again as an easy night dinner for me and my son to enjoy. If you like chicken, green beans and some broth, like simple and want an easy night dinner to warm your soul, you will like this.

  2. This was a soupy mess. I was skeptical of adding so much liquid, so I used only half of the bean juice & it was still way too runny. It looked like watery soup with chicken breasts floating in it. I had added some pepper & poultry seasoning & the flavour was good so I'd probably make this recipe again, but use only 1 or 2 tsp. of the bean juice instead.
