A deliciously different way to make Au Gratin potatoes. This recipe comes from my friend, Joanne Ott.

ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes, slightly thawed
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons onion flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
directions
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix all ingredients except for the potatoes together.
- Add potatoes and mix.
- pour into 9x13 pan.
- bake for 1 hour.
