The tuna you've come to love and enjoy. Very simple and quick.
- 2 (6 ounce) cans light chunk tuna in water
- 1⁄3 cup of regular mayonnaise (or light)
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- mix everything and stir vigorously to break chunks.
- chill until cold.
It's amazing how just a few ingredients can have such a great taste. This is exactly how Subway makes their tuna. Don't overdo the salt and mayo. I like mine on a hoagie bun with dill pickles and white cheese.
I did it but didnt have lemon juice so I subed it for lime juice. It still tastes good, probably not as good as the lemon juice. thanks for posting!!
