"These are a family favorite...quick, easy and tasty. As always this is a base recipe. I mix this up by sometimes adding garlic, onion, and cheese. Feel free to experiment."

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Cook uncovered, over medium-low heat until potatoes are done and have produced a gravy like sauce.

  3. Who would have ever thought that adding the butter before cooking would result in such delicious potatoes!! These were so good and so easy that we'll be eating these on a regular basis! I covered the pot so water didn't evaporate - and am guessing I should have left them uncovered while they cooked. Guess I'll have to peel a few potatoes tonight to :-) check out that theory. Thanks Deely for a new family favorite!
     
  4. Okay, if you haven't tried these potatoes, you definately should! They were simple to make, and we simply could not stop eating them! We will definately have these again and again, it is by far one of the best side dishes we've tried yet! Thanks so much for posting your recipe, it is fantastic :)
     
  5. I grew up eating these, Mom called them parslied potatoes. Good comfort food. Glad you posted this.
