  1. My tastebuds really didn't care for this. It wasn't icky or anything. It is just the cheese kind of takes over and that is all I could taste. To me it tasted like it needs something. Probably a good base recipe but definately needs doctoring with spices and such. Sorry

  2. Tender and very flavorful. I did substitute Cream of Celery for Cream of Mushroom soup and used Miller's Copycat Liptons Onion Soup Mix. I also cut up a nice lean round steak instead of "stew meat". The result was an awesome, flavor - will do again and again - meal.

  3. How can something this easy come out tasting so delicious like it took alot of hard work? This was great tasting. We served it over rice and egg noodles since some in our familt won't eat rice. Great for busy day just start before work and spend 5 min with instant rice when you get home. Thanks for making great meals easy.

  4. I have to agree with Kari on this one. Maybe cooking for so long in the crockpot just washed out most of the cheese taste that I was hoping to find. This might go better if cooked in the oven at 350 degrees (f) for one hour per pound. The 3 stars were given because although it did not taste great, no damage was done either and some times the crockpot is the only way to go if you are going to be gone all day.

  5. Made this Sunday. Used homemade cheddar cheese soup, homemade onion soup, and homemade cream of soup.Added garlic, black pepper and some salt. Three kids,Dh and I loved it. I also used a venison roast. Will make often!
