I'm not sure how this got it's name, since Ernest would never drink something so 'girly' but I had this drink at "Conchy Joe's" on the intra coastal waterway in Florida and drank it out of a tin cup at a thatched roof bar... what more could you ask for?? I think ole' Ernie would give me a pass!
- Squeeze lime juice into a shaker, add remaining ingredients and shake briefly with a glassful of crushed ice. Serve in a frosted cocktail glass.
I had "several" of these while in Cuba, and they are delicious. The only difference is that they use Marashino liqueur instead of juice.
You are right Chrissy. These little coctails are very good. I live near Conchy Joe's in Jensen Beach and it's always on the "where to take the company from up north to." Thanks for sharing.
