This is another recipe from our friend David Mellin. He says this recipe is "F-ING GOOD". I admit guessing on the number of crackers as it wasn't specified, so you may need to adjust to get the texture you like.
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 egg
- 6 -8 saltine crackers, crushed
- season salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- garlic salt, to taste
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- Mix all ingredients and form into patties.
- Cook to desired doneness.
The burgers were really good. Because onion soup mix is salty, I only used half a package and used garlic powder instead of garlic salt.
