These muffins have a really good taste. They're not too sweet and I used 1/3 cup sugar instead of honey. Thanks Recipe Junkie :) Made for Think Pink event

  1. Sift together dry ingredients.
  2. Drain cherries, reserving juice.
  3. Preheat oven to 400.
  4. Finely cut and measure 1/2 c cherries.
  5. Beat egg slightly.
  6. Add milk, cherry juice, salad oil, honey and cherries.
  7. Make a well in center of flour mixture.
  8. Pour in egg mixture all at once.
  9. Stir quickly, just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  10. Do not beat (batter will be lumpy).
  11. Quickly spoon batter into 12 2 and 1/2 greased muffin cups.
  12. Bake 12-15 minutes or until done.
  13. Serve popping hot.
