White female, married (2nd time)19 years 3 months. 3 children from 1st marriage (2 girls, 1 boy). 5 granddaughters, 1 great grandson. Very religious (Jehovah's Witness). I have a chronic heart illness called Familial Dilated Cardiomyopathy with complications (Severe leaking Tricuspid valve which causes regurgitation of blood back into my liver, leaking Mitral valve, borderline renal failure, severe fluid retention for which medication does not work properley anymore). The doctors have told me that I have entered the final phase of the illness, that is terminal and mostly what can be done for me now will only be palliative. As a matter of fact I am meeting with them tomorrow to decide on a plan of action and what can be expected to happen with the illness from now on. I am a great believer in alternative treatments and that is why I have joined this site. My landlady told my son that there is a remedy for fluid retention that has been in her family for generations and it really works. That is why I am here to find out how to make this infusion or as the French call it, Tisane. I have found a couple of recipes, thank you. My landlady comes from Rumania so if anybody has any idea of how the Rumanians prepared this infusion, I would be most grateful. I used to take a concoction (years ago), that was made from celery seeds. It smelled and tasted horrible, but it worked and it is not so rough on the renal system as conventional treatments. Has anyone heard of this?
