I'm a brand-new cook - I was really clueless until I started learning about 6 months ago, so the recipes that work for me are the ones that really spell everything out (don't laugh, but it really threw me to find out that a "saucepan" is really a POT.) So far, I'm doing well... I've made a lot of dishes successfully and not too many have been disasters!
