@Frazzled
I stumbled upon Zaar last night and as my username implies, I was more than a little stressed and worried. We have just moved and unopened boxes are scattered throughout the house. I was feeling a little pressured to get things finished so I could begin decorating for Christmas when I received a call. Since we now have more room than we did before, all of the out of town relatives and friends will be staying with us. I have 22 days to get everything unpacked, the house decorated, empty rooms furnished but the thing that really terrified me was the thought of cooking for all of these people for one full week! To be honest, the first thing I did was to sit down in the middle of the floor and cry. How on earth was I going to do all this? I'm sure you can imagine the nightmare scenario that was playing in my mind! lol I was envisioning hungry children crying because the meal was late and I didn't have anything they liked. Oh, my mind can be so very cruel to me! Pots of water boiling over, while smoke wafts from the oven, the dishwasher springing a leak and flooding the kitchen while hungry adults wordlessly check their watches. Needless to say, by the time I reached my computer and started a feverish search for recipes I was in quite a state. Then, I'm still not quite sure how, but I stumbled upon Zaar. All the recipes looked great but there were so many! I needed more guidance so, I registered and made my way to the forum. I very briefly described my problem thinking I might get a suggestion or two. This afternoon, I checked my email and there was a topic reply notice so off I went to see what kind person had answered. I was absolutely floored to find many people had taken the time out to not only offer advice but to actually steer me to the recipes they thought might work! I can't tell you the good it has done this heart of mine! I've only begun to look over their suggestions and about planning the meals and their preparation but just knowing there are people out here that are willing to help has done me a world of good! Thank you Zaar! :)
