A long time ago (15 years), when I worked in restaurants, my girlfriend brought home a Macintosh, which, having never played with a computer of any type before, I was fascinated by. So I got the idea for a recipe program, and started programming it in MacBasic! I called it "MacFeast"... I still have the disks! (My first attempt at programming!) Then, I gave up on basic, and tried 68000 assembly language! From there I gave up on MacFeast, and become a programmer, and now work in IBM research as a senior software engineer! True story. And so, Recipezarr is close to my heart... it is what I wish I could have done. I am now heavily involved in XML and XSLT (I do the Xalan XSLT processor on Apache, and am on the W3C XSL Working Group). I am interested in the fact that recipezar uses XML, and am generally curious about the technology.
