I have 2 children that I am on permanent volunteer status for all their events. I enjoy tennis, walking, biking, and swimming, but NOT running. I am more of an artsy/craftsy kind of gal but can fend for myself (to the thanks of my family) in the kitchen. My specialty is cleaning up. I have 2 cookbooks that save my life on many occasions; Fix It and Forget It and the Dinner Doctor. I prefer to fix meals that can be pulled together with about 5 ingredients and use very common items found in my pantry. The thing I dislike the most about cooking is how much time it takes to create a full dinner. What I enjoy the most about cooking is using fresh veggies and making wok-style side dishes because I know they are the healthiest items for my family to eat.
