Well I would have to say that before I became a mom and a house wife I used to think I was a good cook. But as soon as my daughter went off the baby food everything that I knew about cooking went out the window. Meaning I would have to change the way I cook entirely. I myself love to try different foods and like to experiment with different spices and such. I dont have a whole lot of cook book but I do have a few of the 'Company's Coming' cook books and a few of the good ole stand-by's that Mom gave me . I was recently in a bookstore and I purchased a a cook book that is more into the fancy shmancy gourmet style cooking , not necessarily a practical book for one such as my self cooking for my family but it is a lovely book to read for learning techniques and about flavors of the more exotic foods. I guess I would have to say that my biggest peeve would be the fact that I cant cook none of the good stuff that I used to because the hubby and the daughter are both fussy eaters.
