I am a student chef at Diablo Valley College. I have been told I am creative when it comes to using ingredients people wouldn't think to use, such as tangerines in salad dressing and radish in a citrus-carrot juice. However my specialty is not in salads or juices, but in shrimp dishes. Some of my favorite dishes to make are shrimp scampi (also a favorite among my family and friends), panko coconut shrimp, and shrimp pesto pasta. I also enjoy working with chicken, and my chicken noodle soup has become a popular dish among family and friends. While I like to cook everything my cuisine leans mainly towards Italian, however I feel that Italian would fuse well with Lebanese, and hope to make recipes that combine both styles.
