- 112 ounces ketchup
- 15 ounces apple cider vinegar
- 2 lbs brown sugar
- 40 ounces clover honey
- 1⁄4 cup kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 2 tablespoons citric acid
- 1 cup chili powder
- 1⁄4 cup paprika
- 1⁄2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 4 tablespoons coarse black pepper
- 2 tablespoons white pepper
- 2 tablespoons cayenne powder
- 1 teaspoon butter flavor extract
- 1 tablespoon mace
- 4 tablespoons vinegar, powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1 tablespoon anchovy, powder
- 2 tablespoons msg
- 1⁄2 cup molasses
- 1⁄2 cup corn whiskey
- 1 cup orange juice
directions
- Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel 8-quart stockpot.
- Bring to a slow simmer and cook over low heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs or until desired thickness. stirring when needed. Don't allow the bottom of the pan burn.
- Store in canning jars and preserve according to proper canning procedures.
