Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda

Frosting
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 1⁄2 lbs confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Cake:
- Mix all ingredients together by hand.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9X13X2 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
- Frosting.
- Mix all ingredients together by hand.
- Frost cake when cooled.
- Sprinkle frosted cake with pecans.

A question before I start. Is the crushed pineapple drained or do I use it straight from the can? I'm guessing un-drained because it needs the liquid, but just wanted to make sure. -
YUMMY!!! My husband is deployed (he is the chef in the family) and I am trying to feed two picky boys in his absence. This was dessert tonight after pizza and they gobbled it up! It is wonderful and super easy! Definately a keeper! Thanks Kit_Kat!
