- 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups non-dairy milk (or more to taste)
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose seasoning (like Spike)
- salt and pepper
directions
- Pour tomato sauce into one or more microwaveable bowls or a saucepan. Slowly stir in non-dairy milk until desired color and consistency are achieved. Add seasonings to taste.
- Microwave about 2 minutes (or until hot) or heat on stove.
- Serve with vegan grilled cheese or your favorite sandwich or salad.

I'm a grad student and also teach at two different schools, so I need some fast/easy recipes. I try to eat vegan, and most of my creations are also gluten-free because my husband is Diabetic/Celiac. I don't post any recipes I have not personally tried and liked.
