  1. Okay, so I thought this was going to turn out great based on the other reviews, but it didn't seem to have a lot of flavor. I used shredded parmesan cheese instead of grated - maybe that was the problem. However, the recipe didn't state which to use, so I figured it would be fine.

  2. This is sooo good! I used plain white sliced bread, melted butter and a good quality finely grated vegetarian parmesan, baking it in the oven at 180 celsius for around 12 minutes. I ate so much of the bread, I couldn't finish my pasta.

  3. I've been making a similar recipe for years. It's my fall-back when I don't have any special breads for dinner. I add a little garlic powder too. Last night I used sourdough sliced bread I had on hand. Turned out great as usual - delicious!

  4. I've been eating this bread since I was a little girl! It's a simple and great way to prepare it in no time at all. I usually just place the bread under the broiler for a couple of minutes and it's ready to go. Try it with garlic powder too!

  5. I do my Parmesan bread like this often. It is great with spaghetti or soup. It is really tasty. It is especially good on thick bread, white or wheat. Sometimes I put my cheese on a plate and dredge the bread for a more complete coating. Roxygirl in Colo.
