Mark your calendars, everyone. The most sensical food holiday to grace the calendar is coming up: 7/11 is 7-Eleven Day.

Tomorrow, July 11th, marks 7-Eleven’s 91st birthday, and the store is celebrating by giving customers their famous Slurpees for free.

Beginning in 2002, America’s largest convenience store has capitalized on July 11th to give away small slurpees between 11am and 7pm at their stores nationwide.

The divine Slurpee has attracted an iconic following, from its own social media accounts to collectable straws sold to make your slurping experience even more fun, and tomorrow’s festivities give fans a chance to indulge in their favorite icy drink for free.

Raj Kapoor, Senior Vice President of the convenience store chain, says of the ‘holiday,’ “Free Slurpee Day may be the most anticipated day of the year for millions of 7-Eleven customers and new customers alike.”

Honestly, what’s better on a mid-summer day than a frozen sugary beverage?

But, if you don’t want to wait in the inevitably long lines that come with any anticipated giveaway, all you need is some ice, a blender or this cool tool, and an epic recipe and you can celebrate 7-Eleven’s birthday from the comfort of your own kitchen.

No matter which path you pick, be sure to celebrate July 11th with a tasty cold beverage. Happy slurping, friends.
