The last thing most people want is to see their mug up on a police website. But for one New Jersey pug, a mug was perhaps the best thing to happen to her all day.

Bean the pug was found without her identification on Sunday in Cape May, NJ, by police officers out on patrol, according to the Associated Press.

Clearly lost, Bean the pug was wandering through yards. After being subjected to a breathalyzer test to determine that she was not, in fact, under the influence of milk bones (ok, that part isn’t true), officers attempted to corral her into a cruiser. Alas, Bean’s legs were too short, and the officers had to give her a boost.

At the station, Bean got her pug shot before being held in a comfortable cell. It is unclear whether or not her paw prints were taken. Officers, in the hunt for her owner, posted her photos to Facebook.

Bean’s owners were eventually found, and Bean’s bail was paid with a gift basket of fresh cookies.

If there’s a moral to the story here somewhere, it’s that the Facebook accounts of police stations are the absolute best.
