At the French Kebab Academy, Become a Master Kebab-er
A three-day certificate program teaches French cooks to prepare kebab.

So you love your street food. You live for that 2 a.m. shaved meat sandwich; that perfectly salty and greasy lil’ thang with ever-so-sad onion and lettuce shavings, with red sauce and white sauce, which just soaks up all sorrow, sadness and leftover liquor at the end of the evening. But do you love it enough to get a degree?
If your kebab dreams can’t be quashed, you’re in luck, because you can now go to kebab school. After a three-day training at the Kebab Academy in Saint-Lô, Normandy, you’ll be pro enough not only to grill up a killer meat tower, but you’ll also have the knowledge to open your own shop.
On day one, you learn the product. Cooking? Check. Slicing and dicing with that snazzy meat saw? You know it. On day two, trainees learn to incorporate kebab into their menus with fancy new preparations. Finally, day three is all about operations, marketing and business. By the end, you’ll get your Maître Kebabiste (master kebab-maker) certificate. All for a low price of 760 euros (about $880)!
The Kebab Academy was opened as a solution to lack of proper hygienic training in small kebab shops, of which France has over 11,000 according to market research from Gira Conseil. It is run by the brand France Kebab, which sells pre-sliced meat to consumers and large doner kebab slabs to kebab shops.
