Dunkin' Offers Shark Doughnuts in Honor of Shark Week
Hold our fins as we dive in.

If you hadn’t heard, this week is Shark Week—a week so ferocious and unrelenting that it’s been around for 30 years.
Everybody wants in on the turbulent action, so Dunkin’ Donuts released an honorary shark doughnut for the occasion, which the company hopes will help fish fans enjoy a bloody brilliant week of underwater action.
While nowhere near as epic as Genius Kitchen’s Shark Attack Pizza (though we might be, you know, biased), this Dunkin’ treat takes the shark party out of primetime and lets you dive into it first thing in the morning.
The “Shark Bite Donut” features plain white icing (how frothy) with shark sprinkles on top. Don’t be afraid of them, though; they’re quite crunchy.
“We are excited to bring shark enthusiasts and donut lovers everywhere a special treat to celebrate this week,” said a Dunkin’s “Manager of Donut Excellence” in a statement.
Shark Week airs on Discovery (Genius Kitchen’s parent company) through Sunday evening.
