Ryan Reynolds might be the “owner” of a gin company, but his wise-cracking mutant alter ego, Deadpool, has been partnered with Mike’s Hard Lemonade since the superhero’s first film broke sales records back in 2016.

Now, with Deadpool 2 set for its U.S. theatrical release in May, the Mike’s Harder brand is preparing for pop-up bars in New York City and in Los Angeles, where it will amuse Marvel Comics fans with exclusive content and free tastes of its extra-strong malt liquor lemonade.

The pop-up bars will be decorated in the vein of Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Girls—Deadpool’s bar hangout and mercenary center—complete with pool tables and the superhero’s favorite snacks. For Los Angeles attendees, that means chimichangas. For New York City folks, it means pizza.

The New York City event will be held at the Alligator Lounge from April 26th to 28th. The Los Angeles event will take place from May 10th to 12th at Slipper Clutch. Both will be open from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., local time.

Of course, this being an event sponsored by Mike’s Harder (which contains 8 percent alcohol by volume compared to that of the regular Mike’s Hard Lemonade, which comes in at 5 percent), there will also be Deadpool themed cans of high-octane boozy drinks. Flavors include lemonade, strawberry, cranberry, purple grape, black cherry and blood orange, for a wild evening.

“Deadpool and [Mike’s] Harder make a perfect duo—they are both bold, provocative, and unapologetically take risks. This partnership hits the spot just right,” said the company in a statement. “Just like Harder, Deadpool doesn't just live a little, he lives a lot. He doesn't wait for one door to open, he kicks them all down.”

The special cans will be available for purchase through June in 16-ounce and 23.5-ounce sizes. Deadpool 2 hits cinemas on May 18th.
