  1. Line a yogurt strainer, sieve or small colander with three layers of 100% cotton cheesecloth or a clean paper coffee filter.
  2. Suspend lined strainer, sieve, or colander over a bowl.
  3. Spoon in yogurt.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight.
  5. Remove yogurt cheese from strainer; discard liquid.
  6. Transfer to a large bowl.
  7. Stir in cheese, onion , garlic, and seasoned salt.
  8. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
  9. Stir in basil just before serving.
  10. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  11. Serve with vegetables and/or crackers.
