Vegetarian Low Fat Curd (Yogurt) Sandwiches

  1. Grind coconut, green chillies, salt and mint leaves in a mixer.
  2. Butter one slice of bread generously.
  3. Spread the ground green chutney over it evenly.
  4. Cover it with another slice of bread.
  5. Trim the edges of the bread.
  6. Cut it into triangle shape.
  7. Prepare about 6 sets of bread (12 slices= 6 sandwiches) in the same way.
  8. Arrange them evenly in a deep bowl.
  9. In another bowl, beat the sugar and yogurt.
  10. Pour it over the bread.
  11. Garnish with red chilli powder (to taste) and cilantro (chopped finely).
  12. Optionally, decorate with sev (either home-made or bought readymade from the market).
  13. Refrigerate it for half an hour.
  14. Serve chilled.
