Turkey Stuffing Divan

This is so delightful - and so very easy to make - You can substitute a can of Cream of Chicken soup for the Cream of Celery and 2 cups of cooked chicken. TIP: 2 cups cooked broccoli cuts use about 1 lb. fresh broccoli, trimmed, cut into 1-inch pieces or 1 package (10oz) frozen broccoli cuts. Show more

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 14 cups boiling water
  • 4  tablespoons butter or 4  tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 4  cups  seasoned stuffing mix
  • 2  cups broccoli, cuts
  • 2  cups  cubed  cooked turkey
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  campbell's  cream of celery soup
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1  cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Mix water and margarine. Add stuffing mix. Mix lightly.
  2. Spoon into 2-quart shallow baking dish.
  3. Arrange broccoli and turkey over stuffing.
  4. In small bowl, mix soup, milk and 1/2 cup cheese. Pour over broccoli and turkey.
  5. Sprinkle remaining cheese over soup mixture.
  6. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until hot.
