Tofu Curry for Rice and Naan||

Ingredients
- tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup chopped onion
- coriander leaves
- cumin, mustard, fennel seeds
- ginger-garlic paste, - 1 tbsp
- 4 tablespoons oil
Ingredients for the paste
- 4 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1⁄2 cup water, approximately
- 1⁄2 cup , fresh or 1⁄2 cup dried coconut, pieces
- 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
Directions
- Procedure:
- First, take one pan and put 2 tbsps of oil, next add fennel seeds, salt, red chili powder each 1/4th tbsp and mix it well.
- Now add Tofu pieces to the oil and let it fry until tofu turns into golden brown color. It takes 8 to 10 minutes in a medium flame.
- Once pieces are ready, transfer in a separate bowl.
- Now add 2 tbsps of oil again in the same pan, once the oil is heated add mustard, cumin seeds together half a tbsp, followed by 2 or 3 dried red chillis.
- Now add finely chopped onions, green chilies followed by 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, once the onions are sought, add your freshly grounded tomato curry paste to the onions and mix it well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Next, add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and whole coriander seeds powder, again mix all very well combined, cover it and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now our main ingredient( hero of the movie) is fried tofu add to the cooked curry paste, here I added 1 tbsp of garam masala powder(optional) to the curry and give it a nice final mix and cover with a lid wait for few minutes.
- After 2 to 3 minutes take off the lid and sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove.
- Yummy TOFU curry is ready to serve, you can serve this with Nan, roti, or any kind of boiled rice.
