Sweet Potato Dip (Louisiana)

This simple recipe was found on the internet at sweetpotato.org. Half of a 15-ounce can of yams (drained & mashed) can be substituted for the fresh ones. Preparation time does not include the time needed to cook the sweet potatoes.

Ingredients

• 1  pint nonfat plain yogurt
• 1 (1 ounce) envelope  onion soup mix
• 1⁄2 cup fresh sweet potatoes, peeled, cooked, mashed

Directions

1. Mix all the ingredients together & chill.
2. Serve with fresh veggies.
