Sweet Bulgur With Spices

Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 cup bulgur, medium grind
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
Directions
- Place water and sugar in a pot and bring to a boil; add bulgur, spices and raisins.
- Cover, and continue to cook for 1 minute. Then turn off the heat and let sit 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the grind of the bulgur.
- Fluff the bulgur with a fork.
- Serve warm or room temperature drizzled with milk or cream.
