Ready In: 15 mins

Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 4  regular tea bags or 2  lipton  family-size tea bags
  • 1  quart cold water
  • 1  cup artificial sweetener (I prefer Splenda,or more if you want it sweeter)
  • 12 teaspoon  of desired flavor  extract, such as vanilla, peppermint, lemon, raspberry, etc. (more if you want a stronger flavor, but be careful not to use too much)
  •  ice, enough to cool a large pitcher tea (optional)

  3. Remove pot from heat and stir in the Splenda and extract.
  4. Pour tea in pitcher or other container and serve immediately over ice or refrigerate.
  5. Note: If you're using an electric tea maker follow manufacturer's instructions and skip to step 3.
