Stir Fried Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients
- 3⁄4 lb flank steak
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup steamed broccoli floret
Directions
- Cut beef into thin strips.
- In a medium bowl, combine beef with soy sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger. Toss to coat.
- Combine cornstarch in beef broth and set aside.
- Heat oil in skillet over high heat. Add onion and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add beef and stir fry for 2 more minutes.
- Add broccoli to the pan and toss.
- Stir in cornstarch mixture. Cook, tossing gently, until broccoli is hot and sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
