Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Cream sugar, butter, shortening, eggs, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
- Drop onto cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes (depending on size and cookie sheets used).
