Smoky BBQ Sauce

I found this one in an old, local cookbook. It really sounds like a great barbecue sauce recipe. I intend to test it out on 4th of July. Hope you will enjoy it as well! 8)

• Serves: 6-12

Ingredients

• 4  tablespoons molasses
• 1⁄2 cider vinegar
• 2⁄3 cup ketchup
• 1⁄3 cup water
• 2  tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 2  tablespoons soy sauce
• 1  medium  sliced onion
• 1  tablespoon mustard
• 1⁄4 cup olive oil
• 1  teaspoon liquid smoke
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 6  very thinly slices lemons

Directions

1. Mix all of the ingredients.
2. Combine well.
3. Simmer for about 30 minutes!
