Sicilian Gnocchi With Broccoli

Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 lbs broccoli
- 1⁄2 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons capers
- 2 teaspoons currants
- 5 cups gnocchi
Directions
- Cut the broccoli into florets and dice the stems into bite size pieces. Place broccoli in a large microwave safe dish. Cover and nuke on high for 5 - 7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Lighlty coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook stirring over medium heat until onion becomes soft.
- Add the broccoli, cpers, dried currants, and reserved gnocchi water (if you've made the recipe same day) "recipe #rz.164220" Cook over high heat until water evaporated and the brocoli is crisp.
- Place the gnocchi in a microwave safe casserole. Spoon the broccoli mix on top and reheat in the microwave for 1 - 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
