Salsa Verde

Yields: 2-4 Cups (depending on how much water you add)
Ingredients
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 10 medium tomatillos
- 5 -10 serrano chilies (take the stems off)
- salt
Directions
- Boil a medium to large size pot of water.
- Add all of the tomatoes, tomatillos, and Serrano Chillies and boil until the tomatoes start to split.
- Put all of the tomatoes, tomatillos, and Serrano Chillies into a blender and puree until the liquid is a smooth consistency. Add a little of the water from the pot that you boiled if necessary.
- Pour all of the salsa into a large container and mix together.
- Add salt to taste.
- Serve hot or chilled.
