Salmon Pate

This is a delicious appetizer. I prefer it with green onion myself. Everyone always oohs and ahhs about it when I serve it. Show more

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce) can  condensed  cream of tomato soup
  • 4  ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1  envelope gelatin, softened in
  • 14 cup  cold water
  • 12 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 cup  chopped green onions or 12 cup celery or 12 cup pickle
  • 1 (7 1/2ounce) can salmon, drained,flaked,all skin and bones removed

Directions

  1. Heat soup on top of stove.
  2. Melt cream cheese in hot soup.
  3. Stir until smooth.
  4. Stir in gelatin.
  5. Cool, then add remaining ingredients.
  6. Put into a mold, greased with mayonnaise.
  7. Chill for several hours.
  8. Serve with crackers.
